BRIEF: Cancer Center to host Prostate Awareness Night

April 18--Lake Region Healthcare's (LRH) Cancer Care & Research Center is hosting a public event to help bring awareness and education on the topic of prostate cancer prevention, detection and treatment.
The event will be held on Tuesday, April 24 at the Cancer Center's conference room at 908 S. Cascade St. in Fergus Falls. Speakers Dr. Zvi Levran, urologist and Dr. Margaret Barnes, radiation oncologist will address screening, surveillance and diagnosis of prostate cancer, as well as current management, best practices of newly diagnosed and recurrent prostate cancer.
Attendees will be treated to a light meal, tours of the Cancer Center and Q&A time with the doctors following their presentations. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. and concludes at 7:30 p.m. Registration is limited to the first 50 participants. For more information or to RSVP please call the Cancer Center at 218-736-8688.
