The Pilot One is a voice controlled Environmental Control Unit (ECU) designed for use by individuals with limited mobility due to Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal Cord Injuries or Strokes. Pilot One controls any infrared (IR) device in the home or facility, including TV, cable, satellite, DVD, and new technology remotes such as Roku and Apple TV. Features include, pre-programmed menu structure, IR and X-10 interfaces, voice training with no computer required, graphic display, auditory and visual feedback. The Pilot One supports external microphones and external keys for caregiver use.
In addition to voice control, Pilot One has a switch access back up for safety on days when the voice of the user is not 100-percent. And for users with soft voices, Pilot One has a lapel mic option that can be worn on the shirt or clipped onto bedding.
