3 at Walker County nursing home charged after sexual assault allegation, failure to report

Chattanooga Times Free Press - 10/29/2020

Oct. 29--LaFayette, Georgia, police are looking for an employee who works at the Shepherd Hills nursing home and are charging him with sodomy. Police are also planning to arrest two other Pruitt Health Care employees for not reporting the abuse of an elder patient.

The police department was notified of an alleged sexual assault of a patient by a health care employee on Oct. 20. The incident was reported by a concerned family member.

After police investigated the incident, Henrii Hosue Reynoso was formally charged with aggravated sodomy and is currently wanted on this charge, according to a news release from the police department.

Two other employees at the nursing home -- Stacy Jackson and Peggy Bohannon -- are being charged with failure to report abuse of an elder person.

In 2018, the daughter of a former Shepherd Hills resident sued Pruitt Health Care because mites burrowed into her mother's scalp, face, chest, breasts, shoulders, back, arms and hands.
