Clark County ceremony to celebrate disability awareness

Oct. 4—Clark County's 22nd Annual Celebration of National Disability Employment Awareness Month will be held Wednesday at Clark College, honoring businesses and individuals making a difference in the lives of people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
The event, which will run from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., will also be held virtually. An in-person networking event will take place at the college from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Awards will be given to a large employer, a small employer and an employee with a development or intellectual disability, and others will be celebrated for their service to people living with disabilities.
