East Mountain Medical, LLC, Family practice, opened May 7, 2018. After several months of preparations, some well known medical practitioners in the East Mountains have their own place to practice. They all feel strongly about providing quality, compassionate care to their community and all key staff members are also residents of the East Mountains. Experienced practitioners work with patients to manage chronic care issues (hypertension, diabetes, lipid problems, etc.) as well as provide regular checkups as needed for health maintenance. The facility, located at 104 Quail Trail, Unit B, Edgewood, New Mexico, is centrally and conveniently located in the area they serve. It contains 11 exam rooms and X-Ray equipment, is well-prepared to handle urgent and acute care issues such as fractures, infections, and lacerations. In addition, the clinic offers gynecological services, allergy services, and BioTE (hormone optimization). Routine care such as newborn check-ups, well child visits, immunizations, physicals and sports physicals will also be available on-site at this facility.
