My spouse was insured with this company, and I notified them of her passing. Two weeks ago they claim they sent a check but it still is not here and it seems they will not refund part of the refund of monthly payment which was mad three days before her death. Something is not right about this company and the way they deal with consumers

AETNA is terrible, do not waste you time or money with them. I signed up with AETNA Continental Life insurance Company of Brentwood Tennessee 2 months ago. It has been nothing but problems with them at every interaction. First the billing was a problem then customer support was terrible where they direct you to website that does not work, Today the phone system does not work, I don't know how the are allowed to stay in business.

My mother had this company & they had no problem taking monthly Payments from her for 1 1/2 yrs & she tries to call & no answer & get message saying # is out of Order. This is horrible business ethics & we will be turning them into BBB & the state agency insurance Board. Only way to cancel her Policy was to completely close Her bank account. The reason for 1 star is we had to pick one to leave review

This is an awful experience!! We have paid on a policy for 20 years and can not make a payment nor speak with any person at the company to help us. This is a policy also with continental life of Brentwood Tennessee.

This is the worst insurance company I have ever had to deal with. This is my second year of coverage and I have had to spend hours on the phone just trying to get some reimbursement. My last conversation with them was trying to find out why I had not received any information on a claim for April cleaning submittal. She said because I had one of the procedure codes (X-ray) the plan limits coverage to twice a year. I thought twice a year was for visits not for X-rays. I can't get anyone to send me a copy or their plans and have pretty much given up. Gabby told me on 7/20/2023 she was reprocessing and I would be paid but as of 8/13/2023 nothing has come through. My dentist is not in Network and they told me I could change dentists but I love the ones I see and if they didn't do any better with ones in Network I would really loose. Needless to say I will not use them after this year and highly recommend no one else uses them.
