Baca Senior Center is a warm and inviting center for seniors in Navajo Country. The senior center has lunch from 12 to 1 on week days and does not ask for donations. The Elders often volunteer and help with lunch and clean up. There are regular activities, such as bingo, movies, and birthday parties scheduled. Also there are field trips to places like the zoo in Albuquerque. Health screenings are scheduled regularly. Legal assistance and Medicare help are available as needed. As of 2016, some funding has been provided for several hours of in-home assistance for those over-income for Medicaid.
